What Kay likes about Mandarin Buffet And Grill:
Such a delicious buffet. They had fresh food out the whole time. Wok was very good too. Used to go to haiku in Redmond and found out they changed names and moved. Glad I found the new location. Will be back. It was more money because we came on father's day. They also add a 10 percent charge to your bill for their staff but didn't mention anything about it when I paid. A little deceptive but people probably don't tip... View all feedback. What Mukund Gopi doesn't like about Mandarin Buffet And Grill:
Usually have a good experience here. There have been times when the place is busy, when items are not always full, but that’s expected. The last time I was there, a 10% service charge was added but there was a sign and we were informed before being seated. Wait staff kept the table clear and water filled. Space is a little dated looking. Restrooms are down a dark and creepy hallway, far from most of the seating, and... View all feedback.

Go easy on the drinks, that's how the business model is aligned.

read moreMandarin Buffet and Grill in Redmond, WA offers a diverse range of Chinese and Mongolian dishes, including a variety of sushi options. The buffet is known for its cleanliness and attentive service, with special mention of the helpful staff guiding patrons around the restaurant. Highlights include the fresh food offerings, delicious Mongolian grill, and a chocolate fountain with strawberries and marshmallows for dipping. While some reviewers noted that the prices were on the higher side, especially after 4:00 pm and with an added service charge, others appreciated the quality of the food, particularly the fried rice, garlic bread, sesame chicken, and pork curry. Overall, the restaurant is recommended for those looking for a wide array of buffet options, with options to suit all tastes, and the opportunity to try new dishes.

read moreFast quick and easyAs far as buffets go, this one is at the top of the listNote that my rating is for the buffet category.
Of all the, dismal, Asian-inspired but secretly Mandarin Chinese "eating house" buffets of King and Pierce County that I have been to, Mandarin is by far
Typically when you go to the buffet the first thing you want to do is try everything to see what tastes good.
