"We came in during the flower streets period, arrived a bit late around 9pm. Were received by a angry looking woman who shouted if you want to have dinner you are going to have to wait! Started well but since the place was recommended and it was late we stayed. We were the directed by a very nice man who sat us in a nice exterior patio and apologized for the delay. We ordered some grilled meat and fish. The meat was a mix: one dish really poor fatty bad quality meat. The other was ok. The fish was very good. Service was slow but we had been warned. In the end we paid the same as in much better quality restaurants (e.g. Fialho). Not a disaster but we will not return."

"Very typical dishes, and very good prices. Busy with locals, friendly staff. I had bacalhao which I am very fond of and my husband had lombinhos de porco. I don't care for the current fad to serve homemade crisps with everything ? Both were good, but I can not say they excelled. Good cheap eatery!"
