not that many elegant places are in the bay area. selby is one of the tops. excellent service, nice eating (might be better, but still great, beautiful interieur. the prices are not so high for the value they offer. they bring a lot of complementary such as brot, salate, some sweetness etc. nice touch. the only one is living dare (5% in the exam). I understand the basis, but I just don't like seeing it in the review.... read more.

Service level was high to the point of intrusive as we felt someone was constantly at our table delivering something or taking something away. More than 8 staff waiting on our table over a 3 minute period while eating. The food was tasty but warm at best. For the price that was paid (over $500 for two people) I would hope the food would be hot and not luke-warm at best. read more.
