"Very pleasantly surprised. I ordered the Classic NN Burger. You get a decent size Patty, can be 1/3 Patty. Medium well boiled. Toppings good and on a brioche bungalow. Can twist pommes or thin potatoes that look like chips. Friendly staff. We didn't get any shakes or ice cream, but they're probably also good."

"Last minute decision to visit the kilmarnock inn on 6/10/22 for a night to celebrate our 37th high season day. it was very pleasing. the room was fantastic (in the red fox room.) each worker was helpful and pleasant. it was romantic and quiet. a close friend told me about this gas house and I'm so happy that she did."

"This restaurant is located waterfront with 3 great outdoor seating areas. The view is beautiful. Upon arrival we were asked if we had reservations, no this is our first time here. We were seated outside by the hostess, also our waitress. She told us reservations were recommended so that the appropriate number of staff could be scheduled. Got it!! Needless to say our service was slow. Our meal came out warm, sides condiments forgotten and then the wrong salad came out still forgetting the other side. when the sides did come out we were reminded, this is why we recommend reservations. We did get our to-go boxes quickly!! My husband is a generous tipper, with the exception of tonight!! I 'm curious to know how the service would be with reservations! It seemed to be good around is!"

"Don’t waste your time or money in this place. S l o w service, 45 minutes to order. Wrong drink came for my wife. Mistake was realized by server when she brought them and said she would be right back with correct one. 15 minutes later I went to front desk to ask if she had left sick since she disappeared. They came to table and said they would get right on it. Drink came with apology. Finally got to order. 2 hours in food came. It was mediocre at best. The we asked for check. It was about $105 and tried to use a $150 gift card purchased from them and given as a gift to us. They sent the busboy to deliver news that the card could not be accepted. I asked why he said it was bad. I went to counter again, and was told their system was down. He then took my credit card. My wife checked the card on line from lobby and it was good and showed a $150 balance. The manager at the front then belted out across the lobby rudely about me and what was he suppose to do , give me $100 cash? I’ll repeat, just the service and food was enough to not return. But the attitude from what appeared to be the manager, was unprofessional and totally uncalled for. Edited for resturant response.You miss the point which is the reason for my reduced score. Your management response and treatment of my family was the reason for my negative review. Never ever have we been treated the way YOU treated us the restaurant and the way you put me down in your reply. Guest need to know how bad management is at this place and it’s most likely the reason you can’t compete with other restaurants in the area. You have lots and lots of negative reviews. You treat all with disrespect. No I don’t have much free time. But I do have time to call you out."

"This place isn't totally bad. If you go through the drive-through, that is. If you do come to this location, just use the drive-through because going inside is a whole mess. Their is no posted menu. You have to read off of the 1 small menu they have sitting out. Bring your reading glasses if you need them. Lol. Also, their lobby soda machine was out of EVERYTHING, and trying to get someone to fill your drink from the other side was obviously a lot to ask for. You will wait forever for your food, then only get half of what you ordered. Go through the drive-through, though, and they got you. Go inside, and listen to the team lead, talk down to her fellow employees, and start arguments in front of customers. Super unprofessional and weird atmosphere inside."
