We wanted to try a restaurant near our hotel. The reviews of this place were very positive and overall it rated #2 in the area. I would say this is a solid place to eat. Some variety on the menu without too much to maintain...high quality. I tried the Veal Cordon Blue and was very impressed. Even the 1/2 portion was plenty of food and tasted very fresh. What Marianne Pons doesn't like about Furtbächli:
Good food at extortionate prices. Service is arrogant and slack. No atmosphere and one feels as if one is an intruder. We didn't like it. But still..the food was good. View all feedback.
First day in Switzerland. I came across furtbachli. What a gem. Your made to feel like family. An angel named Antje waited on me. My heart melted. I asked her what she liked. She recommended the Stragnov dish. It is to die for. This is...how fine dining is supposed to be.
