the hype is worth it. do not go to get a chicken sandwich. the chicken is amazingly delicate, moist and perfectly cooked. the teig is crispy, but light. everything is so tasteful, from the bungalow to the side of the pickel. the pommes remind me to go as a child in the beach; to get a paper bag full and distribute it with vinegar. so much nostalgia, but I am quite sure, even without it, they are amazing. and the donu... 2020: Best chicken sandwich I've ever had. Very reasonable prices as well. Update September 2022: I have gone consistently to Beaks over the last few years but have had many issues. Today I ordered a Pickup order at 5 pm scheduled for 615 pm. I waited until 630 pm after arriving on time and was then told that they had run out of chicken strips so could not fulfill my order. I have attended previous times for pickups scheduled and have waited anywhere from 15-45 minutes. I still believe the food is great but the service is very poor from my numerous experiences.
