"I'm so happy this restaurant survived the lock down. The vegetable mo mo are a masterclass in spice and seasoning. I made sure to order enough dishes that we were able to take home leftovers of each dish. I was kind of shocked at how reasonable the price was. Great service, a kitchen at the top of their game and an unassuming yet somehow elegant atmosphere. Wish these stars were Michelin."

"*A memorable day *Very kind, loving, professional staff *Foods with taste, variety and pleasant aroma Thanks to Dennis, kelvin and the wonderful Staff and the Rotisserie. It is venture to say that the audacity to serve the variety of food used in the size of 3 star luxury restaurants which is self service is admirable and extraordinary. Overall, I hope that the manager keep the quality for all of the next future guests, whom will have experiencing at the same high quality reasonable price experience as I have today, can plan for my next visits over the years to maintain it and create branches and earn a Michelin star. Good luck!"

"We enjoyed a wonderful birthday dinner and each of our meals was superb. My lamb shank was so tender and tasty. The sauce was succulent and the risotto and yam sides went perfectly. The seared tuna, steelhead trout and smoked brisket were well enjoyed. The...cocktails, service and amazing food made the occasion a special one. "Great tasting, imaginative vegetarian vegan food. we're often there for breakfast on weekend days. I can't remember the dishes name, but I really enjoy their egg in a large fried onion with greens on a bun with hash browns. the space is really interesting. Everything about the décor is completely repurposed/recycled. They have old glass beer mugs with obscure/found logos for water classes. Highly recommend"

"What a hidden gem! A few of us decided to try Roots again tonight and they have recently changed the public restaurant and it is absolutely lovely. Small enough to be quaint and large enough for many people. The server was outstanding. She recommended the lemongrass bowl and the curry chicken and both of our meals were served piping hot and so much flavour and great portions. Very reasonably priced. Our lovely server also told us about daily specials such as 1/2 priced appetizers and even a prime rib night! This place can be a bit off the beaten track to find but trust me, totally worth finding it. We will be back again and again."

"The buffet had a nice variety, fairly well labelled. Many of the regular favourites (for North America) were there, the mix was about 65: 35 vegetarian to meat. One of the meat curries was goat, another was butter chicken, both of which were apparently good.Vegetarian options included chana masala, and dal makhani, A few desserts, only one kind of rice, the naan that came with the buffet was lovely.For the price I usually expect a few more choices, but overall, everything I tasted was well cooked and spiced so quality over quantity here. Good vegetarian option."
