"Not much is open in Guise on a Monday at noon, this restaurant was about the only possibility apart from a take-away. Prices are a bit steep but the lunchtime weekday menu at about €13 for a starter, main course and dessert from a restricted choice is reasonable value although ordering that menu seems to put the staff into a bad mood. The food is okay. The problem was the staff who were not particularly friendly. We asked twice for the bill, they showed exasperation at each request and we eventually had to go to the cashier to pay. Who was busy and did not deign to acknowledge our presence for quite some time. Bordering on the rude."
