What Chris Farmer likes about Grotto Pizza:
Grottos seems to have a monopoly on the Rehoboth boardwalk pizza business, which is a shame because their pizza isn't nearly as good as old Nicola's (they moved out of town and operate in Lewes now). The pizza is still decent and was quickly devoured by my usually-picky kids while on the beach. Service is friendly and efficient, but don't be surprised at the high prices when you're eating right on the boardwalk. read more.

What Robyn Landean doesn't like about Grotto Pizza:
Food was not done properly, so chef came out to apologize, they removed it from the bill, and replaced it. Staff was nice and service was quick. Restaurant is disgusting. Literally dirty, vents are filthy, AC vents were dripping on us as we ate. Bathroom was nasty, one stall permanently closed. Ceiling in the Restaurant was black and peeling. Honestly, and this is probably bordering on some sort of Rehoboth heresy, but Grottos is my favorite pizza in town.

"For the context I came to the beach with a party of 9 on a family holiday. Service was on average or below. Staff seemed very disorganized throughout the entire process. All drinks came in after about 20 minutes. Half the food lasted another 15 minutes. The rest came another 15 minutes later. Food quality was good on average. Tacos were disappointingly tasty. The shells fell slightly apart. Found what seems to be several white hair in the tacos in the picture. The price was not worth it for quality or quantity. Not sure when or even when we go back."

"The beef was small. I dont mind paying more but it was the side of a hot dog roll and the roll sucked. The sandwich with a hot sausage and beef was the way to go. Mac was pedestrian."
