We walked to the hotel for lunch (an hour along the river from the village) and thoroughly enjoyed both our meal and the service. There were mostly Swiss guests an indication of the quality of the cooking. View all feedback.

Traditional restaurant, located slightly below the Griesalp and the lake. Based on the glowing reviews, we probably expected too much: the food was good, but nothing outstanding. Very nice service. The noise level from the kitchen (loud knocking noises and clattering of dishes/cutlery) takes some getting used to. The restaurant has an area where one can taste at tables, Depending on the weather conditions, you can also sit outside and be served. A counter with the ability to sit down invites you to linger.
