I have watched this restaurant develop from a snack bar attached to a flower nursery to a large & popular restaurant over the years I have been visiting Ponta Delgada and building my own house nearby.It now has added a small swimming pool,closed at this time of year though. "The food is wonderful here. I had a corn and mackerel appetizer that was very inventive and delicious. Same for the perfectly grilled piglet. Service was also very good friendly and efficient. Prices were high but reasonable for the quality. Ambience is a mixed bag. It’s a nice restaurant but hotel guests have to walk through the center of the restaurant if they want to access the pool or restaurant on the 7th floor. Also, a lot of guests were wearing shorts and T shirts so no need to dress up. Overall, a very good restaurant, though, and a great choice for high end dining in Ponta Delgado."
