We enjoyed our last meal in the Carvery last Friday 24th November. It was of course up to Jason's usual standards, BUT, sadly we were advised by Angela that the Carvery was to close on Sunday 26th November. It was, as far as we could see, full, with a party of about 50 ladies celebrating, but apparently, too little too late. You will be missed! read more.

The restaurant is accessible and can therefore also be used with a wheelchair or physiological disabilities, and there is complimentary WiFi. If the weather are right, you can also eat and drink outside.

What Barbara B doesn't like about The River Inn:
have been to this restaurant previously and found it to be very good. On this occasion I was very disappointed, Although the staff were very pleasant, helpful and professional the quality of the food was extremely poor. It was obviously frozen and I consider that the price of a small frozen fish and chips at a cost of £13.00 is excessive.
