"Great little bakery-cafe. It's not a touristy as those located in town. The layed back environment was a pleasant way to start the day. The food was also a treat. I felt they had a unique selection that includes pizzas, sandwich, beer, and wine. It's not fast."

"Amazing pizza. At this point definitely my favorite pizza since moving up to AK. Being from the NY/ NJ area I can be kinda picky with my pizza. These pies could easily go against any of my favorites from back in NJ. Crispy crust with a good chew, prefect ratio of crust, to sauce, to toppings. Staff was quick and friendly. Will definitely be making the drive from Palmer to Talkeetna when I'm missing Jersey style pizza."

"Our trip was postponed for a year and we are glad we were able to rebook. Just walk out the door and you are in the midst of the town. Super charming. Basically right across the street from Denali Brewing Company. The breakfast was AMAZING!!!...There is a washer and dryer on property too! The host was super nice. She even helped us out when our car battery died and sent us some help over."

"We were here as our half point from our house on JBER on the way to Denali, while the family are in town. We all enjoyed our stay in Trapper John's cabin and will definitely be back! There was room enough for all 6 of us (4 adults, 2 children and the little extras like piano, hammock and chicken watching were things my children really enjoyed. It's just a short jaunt in downtown, and the roadhouse itself doesn't need a car. The walk also makes a good excuse (as if someone needs to try some of the delicious bakery items they offer.
