This is probably the best fried fish I have had in this area. I'm not sure if ordering fish and chips is frowned upon here, but regardless, the flavors were amazing. Parking can be a bit difficult in this corner location, but it is worth it to try out this place. It may not be cheap, but the fish was cooked perfectly, the fries were good, and the sauces complemented the fish well. The chowder was more of a soup consistency, but that seemed to be the right type of chowder for this dish. Overall, it was a great and tasty meal.

A small restaurant in the 3rd street and about a block west of bank of america. the part is that it is on a one-way street, but the beautiful part is there a parking space and street parking. we had their home fish n chips, salty burger and two beers. the animals were a great choice. the burger is average and the fish was not fresh, but had delicious crunchy. the fries were nicely boiled with delicious aromen and we like the fact that they are the skin on. I wouldn't drive from seattle to eat here, but if I'm in the opposite and need a quick bite, it's likely to break in again.
I just stopped in for the first time and I am blown away! The staff was super friendly and the food was excellent. The halibut is some of the best fish I have ever had. The batter is light, flavorful and has the perfect crispness to it. The chowder is incredible too with chunks of potato and fish. If you love fish and chips, you have to try Salty Blue.
