Wang Wang Dumplings - Reservoir

Wang Wang serves good Chinese dumplings, I often drop in for lunch. The cafe is near the corner of Sydney Road and Bell Street, it's easy to find. I tend to favour the pork dumplings best, the best dipping sauce is made of vinegar and soy sauce, with a spoonful of chilli. You can get other dishes, but I like the dumplings best, they go down quickly if you are in a rush. By the way, prices are reasonable.

My partner and I came here once for dumplings, which they were pretty good but for some reason it took us a long time to come back. We just visitted recently and ordered a mix of dumplings, fried chicken and noddles and it was amazing. The broader menu is very good and great value. Would definitely recommend you mix dumplings with the other meals and not just stay on dumplings only.

I've eaten at the Wang Wang Dumpling many times over the years. It really is my go to for Asian food in Coburg and its always consistently good. The dumplings come with a range of meat fillings and they are always fresh and tasty. The fried chicken is also great and the fried rice is pretty yum too. There are quite a few tables if you want to dine in but it can get pretty busy at times as it's a popular little place. I tend to get takeaway and the staff are always friendly. Lots of parking outside too. All round great!

I am not the expert on asian cuisine but man, the boiled dumplings there are just too good. Eat in or take away, friendly service, looks pretty authentic. Had some broccoli and fried eggplant too, all great. 7 choices of lager for a person who likes pale ale best, but that’s ok, green tea is also fine. Been there twice, would go again!

Every time we come here we love how appreciated we are by the staff, it makes a difference when you walk into a restaurant and you are genuinely welcomed in by front of house. The prompt serving of the amazing food never fails to please us either. If you are looking for an amazing meal with amazing service this is the place to go !
