"Looks like a casual quick diner beside the bus terminal. Very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the delicious and aesthetically pleasing plates. Gastronomic experience to remember. Was given samples of three red wines before choosing a glass. Three of us sampled everything savoury except steak tartar. The menu is very simple, not many to choose from, but real Icelandic soup. You can choose to have them in a bread bowl, which is huge the best part...free re-fills! They suggest you start with the seafood first as that does not have free re-fills, then there is the meat soup the vegan soup. All three are delicious you can not beat the prices. When you are done eating here you can head two doors down to the owner's pub where he will also give you a free beer. There are several Icelandic Street Foods, make sure you go to this one that is sort of off the beaten path, not in the general vicinity of all the typical tourism streets. I would definitely take the time to go here when in Reykjavik."
