"Very disappointed. We have eaten here several times and always enjoyed it very much and I left a five star review. Today was different. My sandwich was average. The vegetables that came with the hummus had been frozen and the hummus didn’t taste good at all. The glass of wine was the skimpiest pour I have ever seen; it was like four sips. Also, we didn’t understand why the smoothie came in a plastic cup with a lid when we were dining in. When we were asked, ‘how was everything?’ By someone we believed was management, we replied, ‘not as good as usual’ she just walked away as if she didn’t care. I’m not sure if we will go back. It’s sad because the quality of food and service used to be excellent."

"I was here on business with another associate and we were both craving a good fish diner. He had the deep fried walleye and I had broiled perch. It came with the usual sides, salad, soup, choice of potatoe, etc., but the fish really were what set our meals apart from most. My associate said it was the best walleye he's ever had or at least the best he's had in a very long time. The filet was lightly breaded and had a firm, flaky texture and was cooked to perfection. My broiled perch was lightly seasoned, perfectly flaky and tender. It had great flavor. I asked for tartar sauce, but I didn't need it. The bar tender was very friendly and attentive and the seasoned server was welcoming, friendly and easy going. The pace of each course was timed such as when we finished one, the next one was set down. Don't be in a hurry and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. We waited a little longer than normal for our bill, but we were staying in town anyway. We'll be back the next time we're in Rhinelander."

"Large family restaurant. this is our family lover. the owner tony and his wife are in the rule there with a smile sitting man and fill coffee or water. it's really a friendly house. there are a few men who drive the tables and move constantly. eating is very good and cheap. we like to go there to breakfast at night. the ravens are delicious as the bbq ripen. good salad and suppen. there is something for everyone and every day."

"Food took a long time considering it was breakfast, the place was busy though. Crispy hash browns weren't crispy, coffee was expensive. That said, the country fried steak was excellent, as was the sausage gravy. My Sunny side up eggs were a tad cold but perfectly cooked. Service was ok, friendly and the kept my overpriced cup of coffee full. I will go back again."
