We had a stunning meal and the staff were exceptionally helpful. The only disappointment was being charged a corkage fee. We arrived to a sign on the door advertising they did not serve alcohol but you could bring your own. We went to a local supermarket and bought 2 bottles if wine. On asking for the blll we were then told about the corkage charge. Would have been nicer for it to have been advertised or told about i... View all feedback.
What Evilroy doesn't like about Palm Tree:
Great food but unfortunately the waiter is letting the place down. I’ve been eating here for years but won’t be returning. The last two visits have been spoiled by a complete tool of a waiter who has no idea about customer service View all feedback.
Worst service and food was awful no taste colour was not even made it look as though can't eat. Its not for asians
Great service and great food best restaurant ever would go again every day if I could highly recommend.
This place has been an Indian restaurant for three decades. Currently, the palm tree has an excellent value for money with large portions. Choice is limited, but that does not detract from the quality of food, especially as vegetarian. Choice of the pedestrian' is of great quality and two can eat well for less than 20 pounds. I would definitely recommend it.
I ate here last week, with a small group of colleagues, the staff was very friendly and well informed. The prices were very good, the food was fine, but I have to admit that I have had better. My mixes do not have a Tandoori much of the meat, the start was like a pancake chicken this was excellent (I'm not sure of the name)I would return again.
We enjoy the food here the delicious curry war and a very varied selection. The portions were huge, so very well too. The only negative aspect was that the restaurant was too hot as all the radiators were full and the place was full. Also the service was quite slow, it takes almost 40 minutes to get our drinks, in fact, the first came poppadoms!
