"This very friendly cafe is very popular to the local community . The owners and staff are welcoming and always cheerful. If you enjoy food cooked to your personal requirements, enjoy hand made pies, freshly baked cream cakes and take on food challenges. This is a place that ticks all the boxes. The prices are really cheap, the quality is better than all I have been to in the local area. Pop in and let me know if you find any better breakfast cafe. Lol"

"Myself and my friend had fish and chip today and they were delicious. We arrived my bicycle as we have been touring for the past 5days. Their hospitality was second to none. Bringing our food out to us sat on a bench and even filling our water bottles. A big thank you to the 2 chaps that served us. Please pop along and try their food you won’t be disappointed"

"As a local we've been visiting this Chippy occasionally for many years. We are however becoming more disappointed by the quality of the food. The prices are good as obviously people are shopping around for value for money with the crisis if living. But personally I would rather pay a bit more for better quality Fish (Cox) Chips and peas. Last two recent visits the large Cod is so thin it might as well not be their! The batter was over cooked and of a chewy consistency. The chips over cooked and chewy. Many of the chips inedible. The food quality has certainly gone down hill since the business makeover. Does Rob Parkin still own the business? Staff very friendly and helpful. Obviously hard working as is always busy without many local competitors nearby. I think maybe a bit more attention to quality ingredients may help. Seems virtually impossible to get a decent fish chips from Rhyl to Abergele. Probably lost our valuable custom dye to poor quality food. Nevermind. Hopefully the owners can take a positive spin on reviews like this to help improve there well established business."

"Absolutely love this place. It’s exactly the same now as when I visited as a child years ago! I hoped the cakes would be as good as I remembered and I wasn’t disappointed. The cakes are to die for (especially the fresh cream iced...buns chocolate eclairs). They are exactly the same as I remember having when I was a child. Staff have always been friendly and nice to me. Yes they move quickly, but there’s a long queue at most times of day, and as covid guidelines mean people can’t stand in and browse, it’s understandable that they have to keep the line moving. I can’t understand the comments about staff being ‘rude’. Best bakery I know of!"
