"Have been eating here for many years and can't fault the food or service. In the past they have gone above and beyond for special events. Personal to me including birthdays, and helping with RNLI events and gatherings with many settings. "Absolutely love this place. It’s exactly the same now as when I visited as a child years ago! I hoped the cakes would be as good as I remembered and I wasn’t disappointed. The cakes are to die for (especially the fresh cream iced...buns chocolate eclairs). They are exactly the same as I remember having when I was a child. Staff have always been friendly and nice to me. Yes they move quickly, but there’s a long queue at most times of day, and as covid guidelines mean people can’t stand in and browse, it’s understandable that they have to keep the line moving. I can’t understand the comments about staff being ‘rude’. Best bakery I know of!"

"I visited the restaurant over Christmas with 10 friends. The food was brilliant, the service was great too. I had the “Mancunian” I know it’s a strange name but it’s very v good, creamy tamatoey and the right amount of spice. Since going to the restaurant I’ve ordered two takeaways and had the same again I know boring right, but the quality of the food just as good. I’m booked into the restaurant next Friday for my birthday aswell. Can’t wait."
