"The staff was very rude. we had to put the table and take the dinge back. the older lady told a parent to discipline her children. too much salat in salat and they can not adjust the menu to their lust. the environment was nice and they get 4 free sauces and 2 drinks free with what they get."

"If you want great food, great service and a great atmosphere Mario's is the place for you! Living on the island for many years Mario's is the only place that is consistently great. Every time we go somewhere else to try the food we instantly regret not going to Mario's. Seriously cannot fault a thing and the staff are lovely!!"

"Friendly, attentive, fun staff with good sense of humour. They understood about coeliac disease and what a coeliac customer could and could not be served. Lots of gluten free options. "Planning a trip this weekend? Have you been to Phillip island? Looking for good local food? Have you tried the friendly, cosy pub, Rusty Waters Brewery and Restaraunt in Cowes? This local pub has refined and modernized meals and we loved it! <br/ <br/ We had the tasty seafood paella which had a generous amount of seafood thankyou! We also had the confit duck with greens, mash, orange and manderine segments drizzled with a delicious soy caramel sauce! Our sides included the must have roasted pumpkin with ricotta and amazing honey walnuts and we also had the fresh seasonal greens! And to top off the night we had the delightful white chocolate mousse which was served with honeycomb toffee, bitter chocolate sauce and a basil and mint oil! <br/ <br/ We love local food and this one is certainly one of our favourites"
