"Came here for our ten year wedding anniversary. It was the nicest Greek food we’ve ever eaten. The staff were fantastic. Said happy anniversary on our way out, we loved it thank you. Set in a lovely little square with Victorian lights by the castle"

"Wonderful food, amazing service, incredible value for money, the best restaurant in clitheroe from a rural mile. the owners and employees are all dedicated professionals determined to make their experience with them perfect in every way. this caffe is next to the local open air marketplace, but not distracted by the outer appearance or environment. there are Michelin restaurants in the world that strive to create food, atmosphere and standards of services found here."

"We had a meal with friends and were very impressed with both the quality and the prices here. The pub was busy but the restaurant rooms were relaxed and service was very good. The menu offered a lot of choice and the home made options were a refreshing change to the standard meals you get from the corporates. Thoroughly recommend and will definitely return next time we are visiting the area."

"Sat outside with a wonderful view over the garden. I shared the sausage and cheese hot sandwich with my husband to save room for cake. Good size portion and very tasty. We had lemon and blueberry scone with lemon curd and clotted cream after which was delicious. Friendly and helpful staff. Fantastic lunch out. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch"

"Visiting Preston and saw the good reviews so ordered a takeaway. Meatballs starter and Lobster Ravioli. Good news: Was ready on time, a really good sized portions and it was HOT Bad news: Sorry the meatballs were dry and tasteless compared with other Italian outlets I’ve been to with thick mozzarella cheese. The ravioli was just as bad with heavy pasta. Maybe a bad day as there are so many good reviews (mainly for pizza) but this one ended in the bin and 2/5 is being kind."

"Updated review with a chat with glen, we went back to give the spinners a second attempt. I have to say it was good. the food was super, fiona’s stroganoff was excellent my lammage still excellent and tasty and the cheesecake is for to die. I have changed my previous 3 stars to a deserved 5 star rating we are regularly re- each in our group had a great meal and the servers were excellent and really helped to make the night good, I can only say that our previous experience was on a varying rare slut. please ignore my previous commentary, such as talking to friends who regularly go, this did not reflect their experience at all. previous reviews brlliant local family run pub and cozy atmosphere with good beer. my lamb was delicious, but my wife stroganoff with rice seemed very overpriced at £17 for a pot bark with rice. we both decided for the apfel and rhabarb crumb and custard, this was very bad, served in a small pot, the fruit was very good, but the crumb topping was uncooked, leaving a terrifying crumb after. Even the excellent but tiny part of the custards masked not the terrible crumb topping. this was our first visit for a meal and after we heard really good things about spinners we have a little disappointed and overall not the feeling that we have worth for our £51. the surly waitress did not add to the atmosphere."

"AVOID!!!!!!!! Went here on the basis of seeing them recommended on other websites for vegan food, but left absolutely disappointed, appalled by the management and feeling truly robbed. They had very little options, the starter chosen was out of stock. I ordered the cauliflower steak, which was described as a seasoned steak with garlic mushrooms and confit tomato with triple cooked chips and peppercorn sauce. I was then served around 4-5 very small florets of cauliflower (barely any to no seasoning and not cut in a steak with 3 small mushrooms (that weren 't garlic at all... With half a fried tomato that was nearly cold. The chips were like bricks, it was genuinely strenuous to cut one in half??? It also didn 't come with peppercorn sauce as described, and when asking a waitress they told me it 's because they don 't have plant based peppercorn sauce?!?!? Why is it on the menu then?!?!? They did however send out a small pot of plant based sauce, which literally tasted like stock? I ate around 10% of the plate then advised the waitress (which I 'll add, all the waitresses and the supervisor I dealt with were so lovely and understanding, sadly I can 't say the same for the management who wouldn 't give us the time to speak to us, instead sending their young supervisor with their outrageous excuse for compensation that It wasn 't satisfactory, whilst apologising for complaining myself... This dish cost a whopping £19.95!!!! After not taking it off the bill we asked the supervisor to speak to the management, who came back HERSELF (Clearly management couldn 't be arsed to explain she was sorry, there was nothing more she could do and management would only take 20% off that dish. We were very polite, and this restaurant absolutely ripped us off. My partner eats meat and ordered a chicken dish, which was dry and hard and yet again barely seasoned. Also to add... We got ciabatta for starters, which was on the plant based menu and stated with cheese. They then said they can 't do vegan cheese, which then they backtracked on. It seems the kitchen don 't know what they 're doing. IF YOU 'RE LOOKING FOR VEGAN OR VEGETARIAN FOOD (or even meat apparently LOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! Update: management called my partner and apologised, which I appreciate, but invited us back in to try their food again... At our expense? I 'm sorry, but why would I want to come back and pay full price when it was shocking the first time? Avoid."
