Had a lovely lunch here a few weeks ago on Market day. The restaurant was busy but we had the last table and chose the 'plat du jour' which was delicious cod in a sauce. It was well presented and came with veg and rice. The carafe of wine was very pleasant too. For pudding we had a cherry tarte which again was delicious. "Came here two years ago and really enjoyed it. Back again! The setting is very pleasant and relaxed outside eating just off the square.The owner/head of front of house remembered us from two years ago and was friendly and entertaining commenting on how the...children had grown (11 and 9 now). We were given crispy bread with a garlix mayonnaise dip to keep us going. The food was pretty quick to come and just as tasty as we remembered it. We all had pizzas the Calzone is a favourite, chorizo pizza was tasty. The bases were light and flavoursome. The puddings were excellent too, the chocolate pistachio dish superb, but the classic creme brûlée was the best. Not the cheapest meal you will have but very enjoyable."

"Four of us had a wonderful evening here, the menu had lots of choice and there is a separate vegetarian menu which is delicious, we drank the house white which was also very nice. The staff are friendly, attentive and there is no rush,...plus it’s still nice enough to sit outside in the courtyard which is lovely. We all really enjoyed our evening. We highly recommend this restaurant."
