What Sarah Werner doesn't like about Protagonist Kitchen And:
First time here, had a hard time finding it. Got inside and no one was at the front and had to wait awhile for a staff member to greet us and seat us. Service was awful, I’m a server so I tend to be a bit more lenient than others. Would have understood if the place was packed but it wasn’t, only a handful of tables. My friend asked our server for a straw when she delivered our drinks, never saw her again until after... View all feedback.

"I had dinner there with my family after receiving rave reviews of the restaurant. Our server was very nice, but marginally incompetent. He didn't know many details about the menu when asked for details. One of the starters was served without any of the 3 ingredients (olives with canned citrus and fried parsley - served without the fried parsley - not the waiter's fault). The waiter presented the special as an appetizer, but it was actually an appetizer. My main course (or should I say "starter") was served about 5 minutes after the rest of my table had already served their main courses. I was able to order another main course when it was clear that I had ordered an appetizer, but by then the rest of the table was done with the main course. The rest of the people at my table enjoyed the food and the beers were delicious, but overall my experience was not great."
