While some complain of small portion sizes and lackluster food quality, others find comfort in the consistent meals and friendly service. The pub atmosphere appeals to regulars, while the view of the river adds a touch of charm. Patrons appreciate the ample beer selection and welcoming staff. Despite criticisms of slow service and subpar dishes, many feel at home in this riverside eatery and plan to return. Its remote location may deter some, but those who discover Tugboat Annie may find a hidden gem worth revisiting.
Not particularly impressed_Service efficient but verging on the uncaring and unfriendly _Food - poor.
I was pretty excited when I drove by their giant scrolling message board this morning.
Was in the area so stopped in for a quick lunch Had the chicken club, with a nice cold pint.
The waitress was pleasant and prompt. We shared 5 appys, they arrived together and all hot and tasty
We stopped here on a bike ride from Queensborough. We arrived after the lunch hour, so I assume we missed the lunchtime rush. It was very pleasant to sit on the patio and have a leisurely drink and some food. The menu was decent, with some healthy options. The server was friendly. The food didn't come especially quickly, but we were in no rush. The food was tasty. I don't think we would have enjoyed it as much inside--typical pub decor. A pleasant way to spend an hour.
