"Nice surprise in Richmond. I was more then pleasantly surprised at the quality of food at this restaurant in Richmond, IN. It rivals the finer Italian restaurants I have dined at in downtown Indy and Cinti. A very nice ambiance, good service and good selection on the menu. The only negative, if you can call it that, is that the wine list was low to mid grade w/ Kendall Jackson being the most expensive on the list, but again, not bad for a smaller city. It is a toss up between Galo's and the Olde Richmond House (Inn? for best in town and I don't think that there is a close third."

"My father and I go here whenever we can, ever since we found it. My dad is originally from Richmond, we are currently living near Cincinnati, and we still have a family in Richmond. We make the trip at least a few times a month. My dad's got Parkinsons and Dementia, so we're taking small road trips and it keeps him better. The staff was always amazing and patient with him and very friendly all the way around. The food is great, the staff is great and it is always a nice hour and a half or so ride for us when the weather is beautiful. If you weren't here, you should go!"

"Old style historic restaurant near downtown. These types of restaurants are hard to find and should be treasured. Friendly staff and food was very good. I wasn't familiar with 2 Merlot selections but with my meal I wanted the drier of the two and asked for a recommendation. They chose the less cost bottle of the two. This showed me they care about their customers. Well done. I will be going back as I live about an hour away. Thank you for the experience. "I came here for the first time several months ago to try the food and get a picture for a food app. I decided to come back for Yelp. I ordered the One That Got Away Fish Sandwich, Sweet Potato Fries, and a Diet Coke. The sandwich was good, and it had a big piece of fish on it. One might have to cut it up. The Sweet Potato Fries were good, too. I liked the pictures on the wall, including entertainers and sports figures. I think they may have raised their prices since the last time I was here."
