The Angel and Crown in Richmond upon Thames is a lovely antique pub that offers friendly table service and a welcoming atmosphere. We were pleased with our nachos, fish and chips, and drinks, and even received friendly emails inviting us to join in a quiz on the night of our visit. Really not very good. At least try to smile and acknowledge people when they walk through the door, even if you don't mean it! Is it really that hard? Especially when the pub is more or less empty (I wonder why? I know what's happening on your mobile phones is probably more interesting than your work place, but presumably you are being paid to greet and serve customers? If not, then talk to your boss. Nice pub. the beer could be colder, but the atmosphere was nice and the bathroom with flowing is cool. a few large TV screens for the sport.
Food: British price: about 20 £ for two person atmosphere: friendly review: one of the best Sunday in london being in a quiet street in richmond, the restaurant offers at a great price, one of the best sunday roast in london for about six pounds, a good plate of lamb with kartoffeln is served and will delight them. this place is ideal to leave the busy life of london and relax with friends over a pimm’s in west london.

Wow! Just found the completely revived Angel and Crown, and what a brilliant evening! An absolute gem in the heart of Richmond hidden off the high street. Fabulous food, brilliant atmosphere and a fantastic set from The Double Buffs. From their first song the place was rocking. Hats off to Hannah and her wonderful team, just the best gang that you’ll find in any pub in Richmond and all of them absolutely right on it. Lived here for 23 years and for me the best pub atmosphere I’ve seen in a local pub for a very, very long time! For sure our new local! Thanks Hannah.
A brilliant find out the the Red Hat Ladies, came across this gem . Dean the barman was welcoming and polite , excellent food and atmosphere , we met some of the locals and had a fantastic time, certainly worth a visit.
