"Can’t complain about the steaks but as a non meat eater this was a pretty poor experience. Three pasta options on the menu but no Parmesan?! Non meat eaters really could do with some better options… would be great to see a piece of grilled fish on the menu so that all of the sides sauces can be enjoyed with it. One thing we did notice was that presentation had gone down hill. Gone are the wire baskets that the calamari and fries were served in and the steak experience for 2 £70 was juts served on a plain round white dinner plate. Appreciate that wooden boards can’t be used any more but the it really did look a little naff. Service was however friendly and efficient and we were accommodated without booking which we appreciated. I might just leave the steak lovers to it next time!"

"Used to go in for a doughnut every morning on the way to work. It was pricey £4 each) but I enjoyed it and the lovely lady who I think is the manager/owner) was very attentive, serving me with a smile as soon as I entered. However, she must be off this week as there is a different, younger girl working the mornings. Firstly, she charged me inconsistent prices for the same doughnut over two days £4.50 one day, £4.10 the next). I am in a rush in the mornings so I couldn 't be bothered querying it. I just accepted it as one of those things . Then, three days in a row, she acknowledged me standing by the doughnut display, waiting to be served but when someone else entered after me, they would be served immediately. I 'm very big on customer service and this is not it. Being charged inconsistent prices is ons thing, but seemingly ignoring a paying customer and prioritising someone who obviously came in after them is disgraceful. I silently walked out all three times. I won 't bother returning. It 's clear that my custom is not valued."

"One of the best brunches I've ever had- will definitely frequent!!! I couldn't recommend more. I had the vegan BLT sandwich and green smoothie. Delicious and good service too!"

"Absolutely fantastic dining experience. Very professional service throughout and greetings since we arrived at the venue. We had the three course festival menu and every dish was cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. Great value for money. Highly recommended."

"Went for a birthday dinner and had wonderful experience. the atmosphere (of the music that is a great part of what this restaurant is, to the hand soap in the bathroom) was great without the food and the wine (big fan of the cheesy cauliflower) and the service that know and ask the care of the staff, made it a special opportunity."

"Trying to support local businesses rather than chains my friend and I popped in here rather than Costa next door. So glad we did! We were made to feel really welcome, the coffee was amazing and the staff were constantly cleaning down tables and chairs as people left so it felt very safe. Really recommend it."
