beautiful to see a few different ales on the hand pump, a bit disappointing that my pint' was delivered with a head although I know I could have asked if it should be often removed) but if pubs be served with a head, please use fed glasses. it was a nice friendly pub, not too busy or loud and I would still recommend it. We regularly come here for an evening drink and although the beer and the cider are good, for the prices they charge the pub is shabby and unkempt. Came in on a Sunday evening and we were the only customers except one other guy and the floor was littered with straws and beer mats, and there were used tissues on the seats of the adjacent tables and the floor was sticky and the place generally grubby.
