Food was delicious coffee spot on Hard to get a seat through The best part is the Reggae music.
Fantastic avo toast and cappuccino in a cute intimate setting.

"Flew in from South Australia and needing breakfast at midday, Ashmore hit the mark 100%. Really liked the old decor and feel in the shop, making ue of the heritage fabric. Great range of tasty food and good prices. Bacon was really well cooked! Friendly staff and prompt service of food. We'll be back!"

"While the business is still new and finding its feet, the staff are all very friendly and the food is definitely something not to miss. The curries are fairly priced and we were offered some extra rice for free when we ran out while dining in. Would really love to see this business succeed as it is run by lovely people and would hate to see them go - so go in and give them some support! The atmosphere inside the restaurant is very cosy and perfect for a nice winter meal. Will definitely become a regular here!"

"This is a fancy chinese restaurant. We had dim sum on Sunday. The dim sum items are delicious and authentic. The egg custard is really good. The staff are very professional, responsive and attentive. If you are willing to spend a bit more for a good chinese food, you should try this one."

"What a wonderful spot! Rather than spend a day touring distilleries, hubby and I popped in to Society for whisky flights. We found tremendous service, knowledgeable staff, a cozy atmosphere, and an impressively extensive list (including half pours if you're in the mood to sample off the provided platters). We're only here for a week, but we'll be back in."

"Vegetarian, I was looking for an Indian restaurant, but he found an Indian who is a pure vegetarian was bonus. The hospitality was great and attractive and was the food here. I am looking forward to come back to Hobart during my next trip."

"The restaurant is attractive and has an interesting history as a former jam factory. The fixed price menu (AD$100) was selected by the chef and we opted for the five wine pairing menu (AD $75). Each dish is small, delicious and artfully presented. In general..., the wines paired beautifully with the exception of the Fume Blanc and smoked goat curd- which overpowered the wine. Restaurant building has an interesting history involving convict labor and jam factory."

"A warm, welcoming and homely atmosphere. From the moment we were greeted at the door, to the time we left, service was exceptional! Food is sensational. Great menu with a huge selection of wines too. We had the mixed grill, lemonata chicken, prawn saganaki and grilled octopus everything was cooked to perfection. Real home style cooking at very reasonable prices. The tzatziki is so good!! You can tell a lot of love goes into this food. The staff make this place though, so friendly and attentive. Thank you for a wonderful experience!"
