I enjoyed a beautiful high noon tea date with mom today. This quaint little tea house was so cute and had some very tasty goodies. I tried an Orchid Vanilla tea that is available for a limited time only and mom had a Chocolate Chai to accompany a variety of finger sandwiches that were sweet savory along with homemade breads and desserts. Since Myrtles is no longer serving the full lunch, it really is sad to say I will not be going back. She has changed things up and is hoping to create a gift shop/tea room with simple scones. But the limited supply of things for sale and the very expensive scones is why I changed my rating from 5 star to 2. And you're kind of right KC, $17 is for tea and either savory or sweet scones.
