She even offered to add rice cakes to the menu for next time since I asked her for this Shanghai dish in a Sichuan centered restaurant! Sorry to say when the former owner Rene left she took the flavor with her!! For the almost five years we've been going there, I have gotten the shredded pork in garlic sauce, it was the best. Anyone I brought there that tried it loved it. Have been there twice since Rene sold out and both times the dish I loved so much Truly disappointed. Very little flavor. "The truck was at the Paramus Food Truck Festival over the weekend. Hubby's cousin is a picky eater, but he loved the Brisket Sandwich. Which says a lot : I got the Corn Bread and Carolina Bowl. I loved the Carolina Bowl, meaty, and the slaw was delicious, and I'm not a slaw person. My order was to go, so I ate it later and it was delicious. I will have to try it freshly made in the brick and mortar location. The Corn Bread was too dry for my taste, I had to warm it up and smothered it with butter to eat it... Will have to go to the brick and mortar location soon!"
