"One of the places in the area that had opened a kitchen in the afternoon. The decor is a little old-fashioned. We ordered bites (chicken wings, mozzarella sticks, onion rings... and salads and everything was absolutely amazing. Service was super fast, but grumpy, that's the reason I don't have a 5 star rating."

"1. We ordered our drinks 2 white wines. 1 syrup. 1 water. 2. Waited a long time. Received two syrups. Not so bad we thought. Mistakes happen. Sent syrup back. Got water. 3. Ordered: 1 bison steak medium. 1 beef well done. 2 chips...for children. 4. Waited a long time. Received overcooked Bison and vey undercooked ‘bloody’ beef. Tried to get attention of staff. Took a long time. Restaurant was not that busy. Eventually they cooked the beef a bit more. Still not right. 5. Wanted to pay and leave. Took another 20 minutes after plates were cleared. 6. Long evening. Not fully satisfied. Cost a lot. 7. Very small number of menu choices. They should be done correctly"

"We came across this place on our last morning in the area. we caught the gondola up from Lauterbrunnen and then the train to Murren and then the cable car to Gimmelwald. We popped in for some quick refreshment before heading back. What was lovely was the barman came from Cornwall not far from us and my husband ended up having a good chat about rugby. Will definitely call again next time!"

"Die Speisen waren mit viel Liebe zubereitet und sehr abwechslungsreich präsentiert: Amuse bouche als Suppe in einer kleinen Milchkanne, Frites in einem mini Frittierkorb und die Suppe auf einem Holzbrett mit einem Tuch eingewickelt. Das Fleisch in guter Qualität auf den Punkt gebratenen. Leider konnte die Service Leistung nicht mit der Küche mithalten. Teilweise unfreundlich und teilweise mit Sprachproblemen."
