Our neighbor Wirtshaus with great food and beer plus a really beautiful building to go with it all. These days, they only major downside is that it's gotten..
We've been to Hirzinger for the second time today, and we're going more often. I had the carcass with blood and liver sausage, wine meat, sauerkraut and potatoes. Know this before and eat it occasionally in winter. What should I say the liver sausage was the best I've ever eaten. Many herbs in it. My wife had the delicious salad with turkey breast and my daughter children's cookies for 2.80 euros family-friendly. It is modern Bavarian cuisine, not so oily, just delicious! Old restaurant, good beer! The only manko: you have to wait for the bill...
The Hirzinger, a facility between Simssee and Chiemsee, whether for a trip, wedding or a nice lunch or dinner in the beer garden. Coming from Rosenheim you drive over Stephanskirchen, through Riedering back to the village and after about 2.5 km towards Endorf you come to Hirzinger. Impressive, the large building, with a small courtyard, on the right side the barn, which is transformed as a festive room and really rustic. When you enter the house through the front entrance and the heavy old wooden doors, you are in the large corridor. from this, doors to the left and to the right go to various halls and rooms, as well as a walk to the courtyard where you can also sit under a glass roof. This time we read in the vault cellar. What it used to be, I can't say, but I believe the biggest of the guest rooms. We quickly found room as it was already later in the evening and the menus were handed over immediately and friendly. Of course, as usually a liver dumping soup was delivered to my pleasure in a deep dish and no soup pot. Fine liver taste, not overwhelmed in such a way I think real cattle soup that was really excellent after some salt use. Deer with Semmelknödel then gave the main course. Meat was still juicy and not dry as you otherwise get it more often. The sauce fine and tasteful, thick and ideal to suck with the emptying. Even the deer has not grown too much, but had a fine wild taste. A Kleck's berries would have liked me, but there wasn't. Again the right choice to go there and also a more frequent visit to excursions or when you get out of the mountains, this little way is always worth it.
I can only join my judges. We were there on Monday night. A few tables were occupied just about six months ago. Nevertheless, the service was extremely prompt and friendly. We had Schnitzel and Bratwurst with Kraut, with a Hierzinger beer everything in highest quality. Children not only get a lolli as an alibi for child-friendliness but a delicious selection of small meals and an extra service of nice words from the service. Very recommended.
