"We came here for lunch with 6 people in our family. It's nestled in a beautiful woodland and the parking lot was empty when we arrived. We wondered if it was even open. They weren't ready for us so we strolled around the buildings and sat around the fire. Food was ok, service was good, seats definitely not comfortable and tip over easily as I found out... Hahaha. Didn't even realize this place had a hotel until I started writing this review. It would be a cool little getaway for a weekend for sure."

"I thought I'd share a recent experience I had at Juniper. It was pouring rain, and I came in with my baby and toddler for baked goods and a coffee after a stroll around town. We were hoping to sit but we were told immediately that we needed to order food in order to get a table. There were empty tables and it was a very quiet time of day. It was very disappointing, to say the least. I guess my reason for sharing this is to forewarn others who might be in a similar situation as me. We ended up eating outside in the rain. I've never experienced such poor customer service. Really grateful there are other places in Hudson that offer better service."

"After we haven't been able to eat in a restaurant for almost 15 months, we wanted to have booked our first trip to our usual gastronomic restaurant and dinner. Never been disappointed after we've been there for many years, we were disappointed this time. The table d’hôte menu had bad choices. If you wanted liver and onion, it would be better to go to a local restaurant and pay much less. My wife had the trout that was small and dry when she was overcooked. I had the pork fillet that was far away when it was dry and overcooked. I had trouble cutting it with the knife. On the bright side the salad was good and the service was also good. We will now consider when we visit this location as one of the best restaurants. Too bad."

"We arrived with friends who have been here before and highly recommended this place . We sat down and I believe the owner came to Welcome us , we sat in the solarium area. It got warmer and all the tables filled up fast . We started with a most delicious lobster bisque . Main course was salmon and baked potato "
