We stopped at this restaurant on our way to Florida after reading the reviews on TripAdvisor. The location is quite simple, just as other reviewers have mentioned. I ordered the brisket sandwich and it was the best I've ever had. I will definitely make a point to stop by again when I head back north in July. View all feedback.
Small inside with 6 or 7 tables, but also tables outside under the trees. we had a group of 20 plus and went in and ordered and brought us out. Eating was really good with a good sort.
My husband and I ate at thatchers at least three times a month. It is close to where we live, and we love many things on their menu. One of my favorites is actually their salads! They are huge and full of good things for you. They actually have a lemon dressing that is really good. My husband loves the stuffed baked potatoes. The building is small, so you may have to wait but it is well worth it.
We were headed south on I-75 and stopped at the Georgia welcome center. They had a listing of BBQ places so we decided to try one. This place was about 4 miles off the interstate but well worth the side trip. The service was quick and the food was delicious. The shovel was layered white corn chips, cheese, baked beans, pulled pork, and coleslaw, with a delightful BBQ sauce. They had other versions with chicken and beef but we selected the pork and were not disappointed.
My server, Elaine was amazing, food was amazing, not at all expensive. Quality and quantity is great
The best around! Grab a sandwich for lunch or pick up dinner for the family. We've never had a bad meal here!
