What Ken Davis likes about Bob Evans:
Stopped by the Bob Evan’s Homestead. Drove through the Christmas decorations on the farm. Then stopped in for lunch. The dining area is clean and nicely decorated. There were very few here for lunch which was surprising. The service was excellent. We ordered grilled cheese, turkey and dressing and ham steak lunches. The meals were good and filling. The Bob Evans restaurant located on the historic Bob Evans farm should function as a flagship location for the restaurant chain, exemplifying the best that the brand has to offer. Sadly, it falls far short of that goal. If I'm being charitable, I could call it mediocre. I paid over $20 for a plate of lukewarm turkey and dressing with mashed potatoes that didn't taste right.
