"Pork chop from Alcobaça You MUST enjoy this chef d'oeuvre. With Brussels cabbages and with some red potatoes puree all with a sour sauce. You'll love it. So wonderful, so tasteful. Note: I hated Brussels cabbages from it'll be in our shopping list. Wow"

"We wondered if it was open for lunch the doors being shut and nobody sitting at the roadside outside tables. The wafting smells of cooking we detected from the neighbouring salt producing site gave us a clue and ‘Aberto’ on the door confirmed it. Inside it was so busy that we were lucky to get a table. The simple verbal menu ‘Chicken?’ followed by ‘spicy or not?’ set us up for a delicious meal. The wine selection was an equally simple ‘red or white’ and it was served in a jug and was very good. Clean and friendly, super service and wonderful value in a very traditional setting."
