We stopped at this village on an all day tour and had an hour or so here for lunch. We found this restaurant off the main drag, and very pleased that we did.The tartes flambee where obviously home made, and the best we had in Strasbourg. The restaurant has both inside and outside seating, and the couple who run it were friendly and efficient. View all feedback.

What User doesn't like about Salon de The a la Couronne:
bad food . i have no doubt that it was bought from Cora hypermarket..it`s called chishes..or something like that. very expensive...3 people 63 € and we didn't have something special. very unfriendly as if they find customers everywhere..that was the attitude.i don`t recommend it.there are a lot of other places where you could feel a lot better. "We started with a salad with grilled goat cheese over toasts. I asked for a meal with grilled sausages, pork cuts, sauerkraut and potatoes. My wife asked for a chicken cooked in wine sauce with mushrooms. The first two were perfect, but the chicken stew...was not tasty. Also, the look and consistency were not the expected too, as we imagined it would be breast and what came was an upper leg, that cooked with the skin becomes ugly. Overall it was a nice experience, very well served and with a fair price. Service was good but the waitress had a little difficulty in communicating in English, which is understandable. Try local wines like the Gewurtzraminer and Cremant too."

We chose Frankenberg and were very absolutely delighted by the delicate service, sublime location, amazing food over several hours, local wine suited...to each course and overall the amazing experience of gastronomical food! "Last week. You should be in bad faith not to enjoy the meal. the dishes are all very fine and very well executed. Small flat with respect to the dish where the serving of fish was really thin but forgotten by an exquisite sauce. A modern and old mixing frame (walls with some spider canvases but it happens to all of us ;) very good wine choice by sommelier, however, its service can be improved by some details as not to make the following wine taste too early to taste the previous until the end, and not forget to serve the spouse who drinks only water! Good evening overall, to be recommended."
