"Seit vielen Jahren bin ich immer mal wieder hier zum Essen. Ich wurde noch nie enttäuscht. Hier wird deutsche Küche serviert und es schmeckt wie bei Muttern. Der Service ist ebenfalls kompetent und freundlich. Die Preise sind absolut angemessen, eher zu gering, für die ausgezeichnete Qualität., Das Gebäude ist sehr alt und der Charme vergangener Jahre spiegelt sich in allen Räumen wieder."

"4 stars not 5 because I am NOT in favor of the 3G rule. Not sure if the are forced by the government to implement it or they chose to implement and force it on people! Both are ugly. Otherwise, the place is good. Finally, I can only say that I wish to come back only when the 3G rule is no longer implemented."

"Our large group was so happy to find this jewel in oldenburg, with a lot of seat under cover on their sweet little terrace. the personal could not have been more friendly. all staff were friendly, nice and very attentive service was fast (and we were an unexpected group of 9! . the cakes were amazing and all tees, coffee and hot chocolate were enjoyed by all! many thanks to the appeltje caffe team that they have made us so welcome and happy and we will make sure everyone knows that they come to see when in oldenburg:"
