Saw this place while driving by and just had to try it. Ordered the brisket platter. Phenomenal. Got half traditional/half burnt ends. SO good! The cheesy grits were different than I’m used to, but I really liked them with the whole corn (and they had a touch of horseradish I believe? . What H doesn't like about Très Bon Cajun Meats:
Mediocre bbq. We ordered the 3 meat plate. Sausage, brisket, ribs with Mac n cheese and grits. Sides were fine. Sausage was delicious with bits of cheese stuffed inside. The meats were odd. Obviously not fresh. Good smoky flavor but they have it sitting in as liquid that just makes it taste old. The rub they use lacks flavor, so you'll rely on sauce to finish your meal View all feedback.
