"We took a walk to the West End from the city and found this quirky little café. The menu sounded so different and that’s what got our attention. The owner was super-friendly and welcomed us in and we found a table. All the food sounded so good I couldn’t decide what to have but we eventually chose and he went with the crab omelette and I had the grilled French brioche with bacon, but it wasn’t just brioche and bacon, there was more, it was accompanied by coffee mascarpone, honeycomb, fresh berries, berry coulis, mint leaves and salted caramel sauce. OMG it was to die for! His crab omelette was amazing too, unlike anything we have ever tasted. If there is a reason to come back to Brisbane, it’s to have something to eat here. We were in food heaven."

"The Gresham is an interesting place... A great selection of whiskey - particularly for me the numerous bourbons - served in a very unique environment. Overall had a few great evenings here enjoying some fine drinks. Both wallet bending and not.My only gripe? The ever so slightly hipster staff, who, although largely very knowledgable and friendly, could occasionally be very dismissive and marginally arrogant. You need to remember it's not just the connoisseurs who keep you in business... Us plebs who enjoy and appreciate a good whisky (err whiskey) are equally relevant customers!"

"Hidden away on the corner of Rich Lane sits this bar come coffee shop. The barista seemed pretty passionate about his brews so he gave me a double shot in a small cup which hit the mark for me. Very smooth earthy flavors no bitterness."

"Yum! These bagels were so delicious! The Deli is a beautiful place to sit and study or catch-up with friends. Just be mindful that they can get a bit messy, and that parking near here is almost impossible haha so public transport is probably the way to go. Excellent service and atmosphere "
