"This little restaurant serves the best pickeral fish and chip dishes with their own tartar sauce recipe! Delicious! They also have amazing milk shakes! They are even available for takeout in the Winter months. So thankful! Kris' Fish and Chips is strategically located right across from the Lakeview Resort. If you haven't stopped in, you should. You will plan your time around their hours next time you pass through. Enjoy!"

"Annual pilgrimage to Pizza Place while out for for the Gimli 10 miler. Still among the best pizza anywhere. Excellent ingredients and generous portions. Original pizza oven is far superior in comparison to the conveyor belt toaster oven styles you'll find at Winnipeg take out locations. Great staff and funny owner always make you feel welcome. Keep the tradition going Jim!"

"They catered our wedding. Menu was two soups and sandwiches with some cheese and pickles and wow everything was so yummy!! Lots of meat on the sandwiches and hearty flavourful soups. Also been there for breakfast many times and they never disappoint!!"
