"I based my choice of seafood restaurant in Florence on the basis of comments on Tripadvisor. The place is out of the city centre, but well worth the taxi ride. Used predominantly by locals, it boasts an extensive and interesting range of seafood, expertly prepared and professionally served. Portions err on the generous side, a fact obviously known to the regular clientele who were ordering single dishes to share. I had home made ravioli filled with spinach and ricotta and served with butter and sage, followed by the ‘frittura’ (mixed fried fish and crustaceans) ever, ever, ever. Well chosen wines were offered to complement the fish. The prices, appropriate to the quality of the offering, represented good value."

"Food is incredible. Ask for the day dish, which is always incredible. We have been there many times. The best was pasta with pancetta (belly bacon), figues, and pecorino. Wines are superior, staff excellent. If you are around, go there, you won't regret it."
