Price is a bit pricey from around 200-400 per cuisine. But if you have the 30% discount from Hotel H2O you will surely ignore the price once you taste their yummy food. It was cooked well and very mouthwatering. Although the amount of serving is a bit off so you might order another viand if you have 4 pax or more. View all feedback.
We decided to eat here after visiting the Oceanarium and Penguins. The place is faving the Manila Bay so we have a nice view and the interiors are very Asian. Service is good as the waiters are attentive (we ate here during off peak so we are not sure if it is the same during peak hours). The waiter suggested for us to get the set meal for 3 and just add rice and viand if we want. Everything we had are delicious! My sister and Mom who is not a fan of spicy food, loved the Kangkong with sambal sauce. It was my first time to try the Pork Satay and i loved the peanut sauce that comes with it. We also had Lechon Macau, Soy Chicken and Egg soup which are all delicious as well. We just added Salt and Pepper Spareribs and the vinegar is perfect with it. You should also try their Oreo Cheescake! It is just perfect! PS. Was not able to take a pic of the Salt and Pepper Spareribs.
One of the best restaurant in Manila Ocean Park. Foods are great with reasonable price. Ambience is so sophisticated and nice with lots of businessmen and family who dine in there. The staff are so polite and hospitable. Our son celebrated his birthday there and gave us free mini tiramisu cakes with birthday candle. We felt so special that day because of their warm service. Overall satisfied with the food and service. Will come back here again. PS. Their blueberry cheesecake is one of the best
Probably my best restaurant experience in terms of hospitality. Been here with my 2kids to celebrate the birthday of my 2nd child. We experienced great service and hopefully if we return again in the coming years in Manila Ocean Park, we can dine here again. Food 4/5 Ambiance 4.5/5 Service 5/5 Value for Money 4.5/5 I definitely recommend this to anyone!
Makan in Malay terms means “Eat”. We are all fond of eating and it is part of our everyday life. If you have been to Manila Ocean Park, it’s impossible to not notice this Asian Food Village with nice interiors called Makan Makan. We were treated to a lunch full of Asian goodness at Makan Makan for Zomato Philippines Sneak Peek! We tried their best-selling dishes:
Tucked inside the Manila Ocean Park is a restaurant which offers a symphony of asian flavors. Makan Makan Asian Food Village has an extensive menu of Malaysian, Singaporean and other delicacies from the far East. We ordered the Hong Kong style spareribs, the Soy chicken over rice and the Seafood Laksa. The spareribs was good. It had a good amount of chili and the sauce is flavorful. The soy chicken is equally good as it was not too salty and the sauce was perfect. As good as the two dishes were, the best was the seafoid laksa. Broth was spot-on, it was creamy and hearty. The noodles were smooth and a buy chewy. They also filled it with toppings of shrimp, tofu generously. Though there are cheaper alternatives, I think that this is probably the best choice to dine when you visit the park.
