Great little tavern where everyone is like family! Always great food and cold beer served by a great staff!

Good cold beer, great service. Had a blast when everyone met there for the toy run.

Taco soup is great,lots of meat an seasoned really good,great place to eat,have a beer,shoot pool,an be around friendly nice people.

Didnt have but one drink this day with my mom. But this is the only place i go to have a few. Always a good place to have a beer an some food.

"Personal: extremely friendly, interaktiw, knowledgeable and have fantastic recommendations based on personal experiences in the city as we first visited roanoke. all recommended were at the point! bier: unfortunately we chose the wrong choice, although we have heard excellent things about it. in fairness we had only one because of the time and did not like it. we both drank half of them and had to leave them, which is not often happening. the exterior were great!"

"This place used to offer value but as of 5-24-2022 online sub prices are not accurate (average about 9.35 for a 9-inch). Nice staff but why tag me extra for banana peppers? Chipotle is closeby (Tanglewood) next and may offer more bang for yourbuck. Subs are good here yup, but over a dollar per inch? Nah..."

"Very friendly and packed with family and children. I ordered a hardwood grilled chicken burrito, which was very good. black beans, rice, chicken hints of lime. and a order of Angry frits, which is cut fries, Jalapeño bits, Pimento cheese with a side by habanero dipping sauce shhhh! was not really hot at all! everything in all it was good eating, great service, good price and great atmosphere."

"I have no idea how this place stays in business with burgers that are so-so with little flavoring or wow taste. Steak fries are blah and sweet potatoe fries taste frozen. Shouldn't it at least be fresh?? How hard is it to cut up a potatoe??<br br/>The highlight of the evening for me was the pretzel bites. We're served hot and loved both of the sauces they came out with."

"Fresh Cuban cuisine in house style. a must visit!. talk about a hidden gem. this Cuban restaurant, which is run by its wonderfully friendly recreation center, is a must in roanoke. definitiw away, unless they travel williamson rd a lot, but the all-round worth. our family eats at least 2 or 3 times in the month. the vaca frita is amazing and it cooks fresh every day. no rest from the day before the mouth-water fantasy."

"I have now visited Mission BBQ in at least 3 cities. I have been several times to the Mission BBQ in Fayetteville. Another restaurant that you can expect great food and great service no matter what location you visit. They really got me with their support for our veterans. Love how they design the locations. Love the BBQ. Always a treat for the guys that work with me. We had lunch 2 days while working near by. After lunch my sub contractor purchased more BBQ to take home. I had a minute to meet one of the managers onsite. It is a apparent they love what they do. Plenty of people coming here to eat."
