China Star Chinese - Roanoke

This place has been in Roanoke for a long time. I've had probably 100+ meals here in 20+ years. Not once have I been disappointed. Try the hot and sour soup. It's amazing. It all is, really. :

Food is delicious and service is great. There was only one time the food wasn't cooked right. So that may have been a different chef. Other than that this place is my go to for Chinese

The food tasted good but I didn 't like the service. The lady was rude when I told her she made a mistake on our order. We ordered 3 General Tsos, 1 non -spicy. She gave me a nasty look and said I don 't make mistakes! She refused to admit she possibly made a mistake. Mistakes make us human.. She needs customer service lessons needs to improve her people skills. Thats my honest review of China Star in Roanoke.

I love her food, and you'll get a big crowd. Simply put it so, the portions are very large and freshly made. The staff is very friendly, and they serve with a smile. We've been there for over 20 years, and I miss eating inside, but because of Covid-19 security comes first.

Had a great meal at China Star. Food had an excellent taste and the shrimps were very large and plentiful. Great food!
