"Something completely different but outstanding good The Calumet Fisheries Chicago is one of the often recommended culinary adventures around Chicago and even James Beard Awarded. It’s a little shop, established 1928, no place to dine inside, mostly fish on the menu and mostly smoked and fried. You grab your food and eat it hot in your car. Or you visit the closeby bridge which was featured in the original Blues Brother Movie, and eat it there. The offered food is amazing. It's so good that the Fisheries even got its own Wikipedia entry. You can already smell the smoke when walking up to the store, and this wonderful aroma also makes the fish so tasty. Enjoy this special way to eat fish while you are in the area!"
