"Back open as an evening restaurant and just as good as ever, just a great place to eat delicious food. We had all four starters between us, all superb. The chicken and pork belly mains were also beautifully put together dishes. With complimentary breads on arrival and palate cleanser sadly there wasn't room for pudding!"

"We went here as it was chucking it down in Whitby and we needed somewhere dry. Very plesantly surprised that this small establishment packs such a foodie punch. The best ever Caesar salad I have had, so fresh, succulent chicken, crunchy croutons. Rest of the family were very happy the wrap my wife had looked superb. Coffees were also goood to finish. I'd go here again."

"Since Mad Mary's stopped serving in Sandend, we thought we had lost our favourite place to go for a burger in Whitby. But thankfully Coast Cafe Bar under their new management are now producing the best chicken/beef burgers in Whitby (in our opinion), they are absolutely delicious! Myself my wife tried the chicken sriracha burger the bacon cheeseburger both were excellent quality flavour. The cafe is beautifully decorated inside the service was great too. Highly recommended. Well done guys!"

"What a great value little cafe this is! We have just returned from Scarborough after a 10 night stay and this is the best cafe we visited by far. The salads are fab, the lasagne to die for, but the waffle with cream, stawberries and nutella is amazing. Wow!! The staff are very friendly and prices are great value. There is a seating area outside and the cafe is situated just outside Peasholm Park. 5 out of 5."

"Ordered a birthday cake from here after seeing cakes they make on a daily basis and for events on their Facebook page. After seeing the photos, I was able to customise my own cake for my mums bday. When the cake was made and when I came to pick it up, I was pleased to see that it looked absolutely stunning! The dedication that was made to ensuring it looked absolutely stunning absolutely blown me away! My mums guests were all blown away by how lovely it looked. When it came to slicing and cutting the cake, oh well....that was an experience in itself! It tasted amazing! Guests asked me where I purchased it from so I obviously told them! I will definitely keep buying celebration cakes from here in the future. Ps, their other food tastes divine too! A go to if your a visitor to Scarborough! Thank you team Sabroso!"

"Excellent place really enjoyed it friendly staff. Very dog friendly even gave our dog treats and a log to play with. Pizza was the best we’ve had for a long time. I personally like the fact it’s very dog friendly and No under 18s. Can’t wait to go again. Food drinks: Foods excellent. Beers a aquired taste but all good Rooms: 5 Service: 5"

"A really nice cafe overlooking the beach. Lovely views if you can get a seat on the veranda. Food was great, the hazelnut steamer was lush too. Well worth a stop after following the walk from Whitby. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5"
