"Love staff ,love food , shouldn't have got the halepinos though lol But got a £5 rice box with Chilli con carne and Wow massive and lovely Only gripe wish there was a bit more sauce with chilli con carne but a minor thing They probably had it but just never asked for it I'd give it 10* if I could , can't recommend it enough I'd walked past loads of times and decided to go in glad I did Only think they don't take cards but do bank transfer/PayPal cash. "Maybe the best round food I ever had, I had the huh, pesto and mozzarella panini, after eating a panini for the whole week in whitby, it came with the best salat and coleslaw I've ever had. sure to say it will be my going to cafe every time I'm on the way! can't wait to taste the breakfast before they go home tomorrow!"

"Returned to Ditto after they re opened as a restaurant again. We always thoroughly enjoyed our previous visits to this restaurant and was apprehensive as to whether the standard would be as good. No worries there it was excellent. Great 3 course menu at a reasonable price. Best place to eat in Whitby in my view if your a food lover!"

"Very friendly. Pete and his staff are really welcoming and friendly, would recommend stopping here if you are looking to explore Whitby and the surrounding area, situated about 6 miles from Whitby in Egton village. Food is all home made and uses locally sourced meats and vegetables, nice selection of drinks and a lovely atmosphere with open fire and friendly locals. The accommodation is also Dog friendly too and there is a beer garden at the rear and benches at the front. Would definitely go back here"

"Had a pint of Grapefruit IPA, smelt like used nappies and tasted off, reported to young blonde staff member, said they had been selling it all day, but also mentioned a new keg has just been fitted. Staff didn't feel need to check my beer, said it was fine, so bought another beer callee Cosmic, tasted pharmaceutical like a paracetamol had been crushed up into it. I left with both drinks undrunk, staff sarcasticallly said thank you as I left, dark and dingy place with poor quality ale"
